Welcome to Boyds Presbyterian Church!  We are so glad you dropped by to visit our website.  We worship each Sunday at 10 AM in the sanctuary (and on Zoom).  Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have or let us know any needs that you might have.  Again, welcome!

As a Steering Committee, we have monitored the infection rates in both Montgomery and Frederick Counties. The infection rates in both are consistently below 10%.  Out of an abundance of caution, the Steering Committee encourages you to consider wearing a mask indoors in public spaces; however, it is no longer mandatory during the BPC's worship service. If you are at high risk for complications from COVID, you may want to talk with your healthcare provider about wearing a mask or taking other precautions.

Mission Statement -

Encouraging and nurturing our faith through worshipping God for his purpose in both the

church and community.

Presbyterian Beliefs -

We are part of the denominational system of the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA).  For a more detailed understanding of our beliefs, please click below:

Worship In-person and through Zoom -

Each Sunday, we have in-person worship at 10 AM in the sanctuary. We also Zoom each service for those that aren't able to gather together.

WUMCO Food Collection & Distribution -

BPC has supported WUMCO by collecting food for WUMCO’s Food pantry and by helping to distribute this food to many in the surrounding neighborhoods near BPC.  During this time of pandemic, we ask that you collect food from neighbors and friends on behalf of WUMCO and deliver those bags of food directly to WUMCO’s office, weekdays from 9:00 AM-NOON at 17550 West Willard Road or nonperishable food can be dropped off anytime at the WUMCO food drop box at 19601 Fisher Avenue in Poolesville.

Mission and Merriment (M&Ms) - Missi

M&Ms meet for devotionals, fellowship and to make baby blankets for the Child Advocacy Center.  They also make prayer shawls for distribution for anyone who may be comforted by the caring "hug" of a shawl. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not been meeting.

Young at Heart Lunch Bunch -

M&M members and friends of our church gather at local restaurants each month for good food and fellowship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lunch Bunch has not been meeting.

Soul Sisters -

Soul Sisters meets monthly for dinner and fellowship.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, Soul Sisters have been meeting virtually.

We're located at 19901 White Ground Road in Boyds, MD 20841, just a few short miles from both Clarksburg and Germantown.
